BARGERSVILLE, Ind.—A Bargersville-based nonprofit that helps young adults with autism and other disabilities was awarded a grant by the “100 Women Who Care” organization of the Johnson County Community Foundation. The women’s giving initiative presented a check for $14,700 to the Alex and Ali Foundation on Wednesday as part of a grant program.

The ceremony was held at the Hope Gallery in Bargersville, which is one of the first endeavors of the Alex and Ali Foundation. The gallery is operated by individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities with assistance from respite workers, buddies, volunteers, and job coaches.
