GREENWOOD, Ind.–A 14-year-old is at the Johnson County Juvenile Detention Center after being arrested for gun and drug charges in Greenwood early Monday morning. According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old female. Also in the car were four male passengers, ranging in ages from 14 to 16. During the stop, the officer says he smelled burnt marijuana and conducted a vehicle search, where he allegedly found a loaded handgun with the serial number scratched off, a glass pipe, and a small baggie of marijuana, all reportedly belonging to one of the 14-year-old passengers. That juvenile is being charged with dangerous possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and obliterating identifying marks on a handgun.
