NORTH VERNON, Ind.–A teenager was busted on Saturday for dealing marijuana after he was pulled over for speeding down South State Street in North Vernon. The North Vernon Police Department says that when they stopped Todd Madden, 18, of North Vernon, officers claimed they could smell marijuana inside the vehicle.
A search of the suspect’s car allegedly turned up 154 grams of pot in multiple packages, digital scales, and a hollowed-out book. Police say Madden also admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day.
NVPD charged him with dealing marijuana and possession of both marijuana and paraphernalia.
