Ethnic Expo begins today in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ind.–The 34th Annual Ethnic Expo in downtown Columbus kicks-off at 11:30 this morning, and runs through Saturday at 10 p.m. The yearly event celebrates the unique and rich diversity found in the city, with citizens of various ethnicities displaying their culture and serving foods native to their countries of origin. This year’s host country is Germany. Columbus welcomes thousands of visitors every October to the streets around city hall for music, food, a parade, and family fun. QMIX 107.3 will be featured in the Ethnic Expo parade, which starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The parade route is east on Eighth Street, south on Washington Street, west on Third Street, and then north on Brown St. QMIX will be handing out candy to parade-goers.
