Trio of drug, driving arrests made in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ind.—Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies nabbed three individuals in a traffic stop just after midnight on Saturday. The department says that an officer stopped a car for a headlight violation and found a small, burnt marijuana cigarette in the vehicle belonging to Derek Noel, 28. A later search of the car allegedly turned up drug paraphernalia and four syringes belonging to Heather Harden, 30, along with two more syringes claimed by Noel. The driver, Cody Harden, 33, was arrested for driving on a suspended license with indefinite re-eligibility. All three were taken to the Bartholomew County Jail.
