Sheriff welcomes disabled kids at youth academy



COLUMBUS, Ind.–The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office and Developmental Services Inc. are teaming up to offer Disability Friendly Day at the 2018 Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Youth Academy. The academy is designed to expose young residents to role models in public safety, as well as to teach them valuable life and safety lessons. Special needs youth, ages 7-14, are invited to attend on Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
