COLUMBUS, Ind.–Last night, the city of Columbus and Bartholomew County marked the one year anniversary of the launch of the Alliance for Substance Abuse Progress (ASAP) of Bartholomew County by sharing a community progress report.
Officials say the next 12 months will see a shift to action, whereas the past year was largely devoted to studying the problem and coordinating community resources to act. Now, governance bodies have been established with both the city of Columbus and Bartholomew County to review government spending related to substance abuse programs and needs.
