COLUMBUS, Ind.–One of the installations from last year’s Exhibit Columbus show has just received a longer lifespan in the city. New York-based Patrick Parrish Gallery recently gifted to Columbus the work “Theoretical Foyer,” the concrete curb design at 7th and Washington Streets.
At the Board of Works and Safety meeting on Tuesday, the city agreed to accept the gift and keep the work in place for the near future. City engineer Dave Hayward says the installation has held up remarkably well in the year since it was created.
The next Exhibit Columbus Symposium is September 26-29 of this year, with 2019 slated as the next Exhibit Year.
