COLUMBUS, Ind.–At this week’s Columbus Board of Public Works and Safety meeting, the city engineering department released 2015-2017 data pertaining to collisions on Columbus roads. The intersection with the most accidents was U.S. 31 at 17th Street/Marr Road, with 53 crashes reported in the three-year period.
Additionally, information showed that accidents were more likely to occur during daylight hours on clear days, as opposed to nighttime hours or inclement weather conditions.
