COLUMBUS, Ind. — The city of Columbus will conduct a public meeting to discuss a Brownfield Assessment Grant from the U.S. EPA.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at City Hall. The meeting is the first of six meetings that will take place during the project. It will begin with a presentation.
The grant will fund the assessment of properties in Columbus that are contaminated by hazardous substances and petroleum products.
Interested property owners are encouraged to attend the meeting.
