Clerk injured in robbery at Franklin gas station

FRANKLIN, Ind.–A gas station in Franklin was the target of a robbery early Monday morning, resulting in injuries for the attendant. According to Franklin Police, officers were called to the Admiral gas station on Jefferson Street in downtown Franklin on a report of a robbery after a male suspect entered the business demanding money. The clerk received a small cut to their left hand, allegedly from the suspect’s knife as the robber was grabbing money from the cash drawer. The suspect got away on foot and was described as a stocky, white male in his early-to-mid twenties, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, red baseball cap, and black gym shorts.
