Columbus Board of Works hears bids for N. Marr Rd. pedestrian walkway

COLUMBUS, Ind.–At Tuesday’s weekly meeting, the Columbus Board of Public Works and Safety heard bids from four contractors to build a sidepath alongside North Marr Road to serve the many pedestrians walking in that area near the Cummins Fuel Systems plant. Kings Trucking and Paving, Dave O’Mara Contractors, Milestone Contractors, and Case Construction all submitted proposals to the board, with Case Construction coming in with the lowest bid at $241,522.37.
