COLUMBUS, Ind. — A report of a disturbance in a north side Columbus neighborhood led to the arrest of Benjamin Leonard, 37, around 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police found Leonard on the back porch of a home in the 2100 block of Hiker Trace acting erratically and not speaking clearly. An investigation determined Leonard had also entered a home in the 2100 block of Westline Drive shortly before officers made contact with him. During a search, police found drug paraphernalia and illegal prescription drugs.
Leonard was arrested for public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, residential entry, and possession of paraphernalia.
