COLUMBUS, Ind.–Yesterday morning, thousands of residents of all ages lined the streets of Columbus in pouring rain to honor one of their own who gave his life for his country in Afghanistan. At 10:30 a.m., a chartered jet delivered Sgt. Jonathon Hunter’s body to the Columbus Municipal Airport. He was welcomed home by an airfield full of police and fire officers, servicemen and women, and over 700 motorcyclists to conduct the processional ride to Barkes, Weaver, and Glick Funeral Home. The 4.5-mile route lined Central Avenue, turning at 25th Street, ending on Washington Street in downtown Columbus.
