COLUMBUS, Ind. – Anonymous tips led to the arrest of a Columbus woman Monday. According to the Columbus Police Department, officers were patrolling in the area of McKinnley Avenue and Gladstone Avenue after reports of drug activity in the neighborhood. While on patrol the officers say they saw a vehicle run a stop sign. After performing a traffic stop, law enforcement was speaking with the driver, Kelly Herron, 35, when a police K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Herron was arrested on numerous preliminary drug charges including possession of a legend drug injection device.
