BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind.–A Bartholomew County woman’s suspended license turned out to be just one of many problems she experienced early Wednesday morning. The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office says deputies initially stopped Tasha Wooten, 28, of Columbus, near State Road 9 and County Road 450N for a driving violation.

As they were questioning her, the officers determined her license was suspended and they also said they smelled burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search of the car allegedly produced marijuana, methamphetamine, scales, and other paraphernalia.

Wooten was taken into custody, transported to the Bartholomew County Jail, and charged with the drug and driving violations.
