Pair charged after attempted robbery at farm

TAYLORSVILLE, Ind.–Two men were arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly stealing iron and other metal items from a farm on County Road 650N, near Taylorsville. According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s office, a witness reported seeing two men driving away from the farm in a red and white Ford pickup truck. Deputies located the abandoned vehicle at the Tannehill Mobile Home Park. The suspects, later identified as George Reese, 40, and Adam Gaskins, 24, both of Edinburgh, had fled on foot. They were found a short time later in a field behind the Red Roof Inn on U.S. 31. Reese and Gaskins were charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
