COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Food Co-op’s mission to open a cooperative full-service grocery store in Columbus could be accomplished by 2018. Co-op president Mike Johnston told members at last night’s annual spring meeting that a letter of intent was signed to lease property at 1580 Central Avenue in Columbus. Johnston said when renovations are complete, the Columbus Food Co-op should open in late 2018.
