FRANKLIN, Ind.–The Franklin Rotary Club is holding its 21st annual Jim Rhoades Memorial Hog Roast on Thursday, November 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Scott Hall at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. Lunch is free, but donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Johnson County Good Cheer Fund and Interchurch Food Pantry. Last year, Rotarians were able to donate over $27,000 to these worthy charities. Catering will be provided by Malone Catering in Greenwood. The event is named in memory of longtime Franklin resident Jim Rhoades, who launched the event over two decades ago. Rhoades, a Franklin Rotary Club member, owned Rhoades True Value Hardware in Franklin, where he hosted the event in the parking lot of his business for many years.
