INDIANAPOLIS—Friday night’s showers were likely the result of a brief warmup set to end later this evening. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Freeze Warning for Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, and Jennings Counties from 3 to 10 a.m. Sunday morning.
The thermometer is expected to drop to the upper 20s and lower 30s during the overnight hours. NWS warns that sub-freezing conditions will kill unprotected plants, crops, and vegetation that are sensitive to the freezing temperatures.
