GREENWOOD, Ind.–Two Indiana law enforcement agencies became involved in a domestic dispute on Tuesday when a Greenwood woman ended a relationship with her boyfriend. As the woman exited the man’s car and walked toward her apartment, she said she heard gunshots. When the alleged victim turned to see what had happened, police reports say she claims the ex-boyfriend had shot at her car before driving away. Authorities at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office state that the woman contacted them a short time after the incident, and they in turn called the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department to assist with investigating the man thought to be behind the supposed shooting. When they located the suspect, officers say he denied involvement in the incident. Law enforcement is working with the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office to build a criminal case against the man.
