FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Franklin Community High School Athletic Department has hired Chris Coll as the next head football coach of the Grizzly Cubs. The Franklin College graduate most recently coached at Tri-West. He has been in coaching for 26 years and has been a part of four state championship teams and 16 conference championship teams.
Tri-West finished the 2016 season with 9-2 mark and won the Sagamore Conference championship with a perfect 7-0 record.
“My wife, three sons and I are looking forward to joining the Franklin community. It was a difficult decision to choose to leave our lifelong home, but we believe in Franklin schools and the community that much. I’m ready to bring my years of experience and lessons learned as coach to a program that has already begun working toward success. There will be challenges, but I believe in our process. I am eager to start building relationships with the staff and students at FCHS”.
