Healthy Communities issues challenge

columbus regional healthCOLUMBUS, Ind. — The Healthy Communities Initiative at Columbus Regional Health welcomes residents to participate in a free, month-long Wellness Challenge in April. The challenge helps people develop healthy habits and well-being by focusing on nutrition, purpose, activity and mindfulness. There are also chances to win prizes at the end of the 30-day event.

To complete the Wellness Challenge and be eligible for prizes, the following list of items must be completed by May 3.

  1. Download the Wellness Challenge information from org/community-foundation/healthy-communities, or pick up a copy at Wellconnect. The challenge begins on April 1.
  2. By April 30, complete at least 24 wellness activities that include six tasks from the four pillars: Purpose, Nutrition, Activity and Mindfulness.
  3. Submit your completed forms via email at, or drop them off at WellConnect, 237 Washington St., by May 3.
