HOPE, Ind.–Some Bartholomew County REMC customers in Hope went without power for a short time on Tuesday. The power cooperative says that tree trimmers were working to remove limbs near County Roads 500N and 1000E when a tree fell, knocking out power lines along the roadway.

Most members who sustained the outage were up and running in three hours, but others were without power for nearly six hours.
