Our Hospice concert exceeds giving goal

Our Hospice of South Central Indiana

COLUMBUS, Ind.–The 32nd annual Our Hospice Concert featuring Randy Bachman drew over 9,000 people to Mill Race Park on Saturday evening, September 1.  

The Labor Day weekend event once again demonstrated the generosity of the community which helped Our Hospice of South Central Indiana exceed this year’s fundraising goal of $100,000. A record 4,901 raffle tickets were sold, netting $122,000 for the non-profit organization.

Spokesperson Laura Leonard commented, “It was a wonderful evening to celebrate our 32nd concert. We hope it was enjoyed by many and we are grateful to our Title Sponsor, Faurecia and our Partner Sponsor, Columbus Regional Health, as well as our other supporters, staff, board of directors, volunteers and community members who helped make the concert a great success. The funds raised will assist us in caring for our patients and families as we fulfill our mission To Make Every Moment Count.”

The 2018 raffle winners included: 
$10,000 Grand Prize – Rick Caldwell
$500 First Prize – Jane Siefert
$250 Second Prize – Terry Burlew
$150 Third Prize – Dorothy Walker
$100 Fourth Prize – Crystal Robinson
