indiana-farm-bureau-hemp-inhia-farmerINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Registration is open for the Indiana Farm Bureau Spring Conference March 10-11 in Indianapolis. The conference includes two keynote speakers. The event will be held at the Indianapolis Marriott Hotel at 7202 East 21st St.

Director of millennial engagement, Vance Crowe from Monsanto, will speak on Friday evening. Crowe is a former communications strategist for the World Bank Group, a Peace Corps volunteer and served as a deckhand on an eco-tourism ship.

The keynote speaker for Saturday will be comedian and speaker Leslie Townsend. Townsend uses humor to share her experiences about marrying into farm life after growing up in the city.

This year the conference will start on Friday, 5:30 p.m. “Starting later in the day gives us more flexibility with our programming,” said Ashley Beasley, women’s leadership program coordinator. “It also accommodates those who have weekday commitments and gives us a full day for business on Saturday.”

Attendees will also participate in a networking event scheduled for Friday. “Nightly Networking” includes a wine and canvas session, sports humorist and motivational speaker Howard Kellman, and singer Randy Lyness.

Registration is open until February 27. Go to infarmbureau.org/springconf for complete information.
