FRANKLIN, Ind. — Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller, a republican candidate for U.S. Congress, is visiting police stations in the region.
Zoeller is touring the 9th Congressional District after receiving an endorsement from the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police.
“Its early in the campaign and this is the very first thing I wanted to do,” Zoeller said Monday night at the Seymour Police Station. “ If people are afraid, whether its terrorism or foreign affairs around the world, the first thing we need to do is support our local law enforcement.”
Zoeller cancelled his Tuesday morning stop at the Franklin FOP Lodge due to a scheduling conflict in Indianapolis.
The second-term attorney general has stops scheduled in Martinsville, Nashville and Bloomington later on Tuesday.
