WHITELAND, Ind.
–An Indianapolis man was arrested in Whiteland after a Johnson County sheriff’s deputy found that his car’s license plate did not match the plate registered with the vehicle. Authorities at the sheriff’s office say that Brandon Chapman, 29, was first stopped and arrested for driving without a license. Later, while at the jail, deputies stated he was also charged for false informing after Chapman supposedly identified himself with his dead brother’s name to avoid charges from warrants in other counties.
