Indy woman jailed for prostitution

GREENWOOD, Ind.–A sting operation conducted Thursday afternoon by two Johnson County police agencies landed a Marion County woman behind bars for prostitution. Authorities at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office say they collaborated with the Greenwood Police Department in an investigation of Trina Hall, 45, of Indianapolis, after they discovered she was posting ads on websites known for prostitution.

Undercover detectives began their investigation by texting Hall, and she allegedly agreed to sex for $200 at a specified Greenwood location. The undercover officer was wired with cameras and audio equipment before going into the residence. Once inside, police say Hall asked the detective for the money and disrobed. At that time, officers entered and arrested the suspect. During a search, law enforcement says they found a meth pipe and syringes in her purse.

In addition to being booked for prostitution, Hall was also charged with possession of a restrictive drug injection device.
