Indy man arrested after traffic stop

golobCOLUMBUS, Ind. – An Indianapolis man was arrested near Columbus Sunday morning on several charges including operating a vehicle while intoxicated and carrying a handgun without a license. According to a press release, CPD Officer Marcus Clark stopped the vehicle near the 70.5 mile marker after seeing the car swerve. While speaking with Jacob Golob, 27, Officer Clark said he detected the odor of marijuana and a search of the vehicle turned up a loaded handgun that Golob did not have a permit for.  Golob was taken into custody and transported to the Columbus Police Department for a certified breath test where he tested over the legal limit.
