IndyCar part maker moves to Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ind.–A local racing component company is relocating from Bartholomew County to Franklin. Rapid Prototype will be purchasing an existing building in the Franklin Business Park, and will also be constructing a new building to house the business that produces auto racing parts to specifiations. Its largest customer is IndyCar Penske.

The company currently employs 12 people, but will add eight new positions after the move.
