JACKSON COUNTY, Ind.–Jackson County is giving the public a unique opportunity to prevent substance abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The free events are this Saturday, April 28, and no questions will be asked. The Jackson County Drug Free Council, Jackson County Health Department, Jackson County United Way, the Seymour Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration are partnering for the service.
Bring your prescription drugs for disposal to the following locations during the following times.
Jackson County Health Department in Seymour: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Brownstown Senior Center: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Crothersville Senior Center: 9 to 11 a.m., in partnership with the Senior Center’s Breakfast Fundraiser
Medora Senior Center: 2 to 4 p.m., in partnership with the Senior Center’s Free Hot Dog event
Freetown Fire Department: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., in partnership with the Freetown Improvement Association Spaghetti Dinner Free Will Offering fundraiser
