JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind.–The Johnson County Community Foundation has announced that three young women have been awarded full-tuition scholarships to college thanks to the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
Franklin Community High School seniors Avery Auton and Britney Klotzsche, along with Greenwood High School senior Madalynn Bright were chosen based on volunteer community service, academic preparation, and good character. They were chosen out of 200 applicants. This is the 21st year that the Johnson County Community Foundation has administered the program and the first year in recent history that the county has been able to award three deserving students with the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
