Teen’s LGBTQ Pride Festival gets national attention


COLUMBUS, Ind.–The first-ever Columbus Pride Festival is happening today and it has caught the attention of the Huffington Post, which recently ran an article about it. The Huffington Post is a national news and opinion website and blog.

The LGBTQ community and its allies will celebrate the event today, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on 4th Street in downtown Columbus. As a part of the festivities, there will be informational booths, vendors, food, and entertainment. Columbus Signature Academy New Tech student Erin Bailey organized the event as part of her senior project.
