Local man arrested near Franklin church

FRANKLIN, Ind.–A Jackson County man was caught supposedly sneaking around a Franklin church late Thursday night. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says that when deputies arrived at the church, they discovered Jason Weber, 25, of Seymour, was the only person on the premises. He allegedly had a broken window on the church. When the officers conducted a search of his person, they say they found drug paraphernalia. After a background check, deputies also received word that Weber was on probation in Jackson County. The suspect was arrested and taken to Johnson County Jail.
