COLUMBUS, Ind. — A 29-year-old Columbus man was arrested Monday after police say he had items associated with manufacturing methamphetamine.
An Indiana State Police trooper stopped Errick M. Rutherford, who was riding a bike on Pence Calla and State Streets in Columbus.
The trooper became suspicious and was given permission to search Rutherford’s backpack. Items associated with making meth was found, police said.
Rutherford was arrested on possession of methamphetamine precursors with intent to manufacture, a Level 6 felony.
