City’s new banners embrace diversity

COLUMBUS, Ind.–Downtown Columbus will soon seem more welcoming to its residents and to its visitors from around the country and the world. At Tuesday’s weekly meeting, the Board of Public Works and Safety approved a Columbus Visitors Center request to install 28 banners spotlighting a dozen different languages.

The signage displaying the city’s diversity will be erected in the Arts and Entertainment district, and will also feature the Paul Rand “Dancing C’s” as part of the branding of Columbus.
