Needham principal decision expected by April

FRANKLIN, Ind. — More than 55 candidates have applied to become the next principal at Needham Elementary School in Franklin.

“We will begin narrowing those down and calling through the list and have interviews the last week in February,” Franklin Community School Superintendent Dr. David Clendening said.

The school board is expected to approve a new principal in April.

Former superintendent Dr. Jim Halik is filling in as the interim principal until the new principal is hired.
