INDIANAPOLIS–As last-minute voters head to the polls today, be advised that strong winds will present a challenge for your Election Day travels. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Special Weather Statement forecasting strong wind gusts of 35-to-40 mph for south-central Indiana throughout the day.
Drivers of high-profile vehicles will especially want to use extra caution when traveling northbound or southbound on area roadways. Loose outdoor furniture will need to be secured as well.
