WHITELAND, Ind.–October is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in an effort to bring attention to and end domestic violence. By raising awareness and implementing policies to protect Hoosiers in these dangerous situations, domestic violence can be reduced. State Representative Woody Burton, who faced domestic violence in his own home as a child, wants to make sure Indiana is doing everything it can to help children in these situations.
