COLUMBUS, Ind.–Our Hospice of South Central Indiana has announced its headlining act for the 32nd Annual Free Summer Concert, presented by Faurecia. Legendary rocker Randy Bachman, founder of The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive, will be “takin’ care of business” at the Labor Day weekend show on Saturday, September 1, at Mill Race Park. The opening act will be the Indianapolis-based rock band, The Why Store, led by Chris Shaffer.
The annual concert is the largest fundraiser for Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, the first and only not-for-profit hospice care provider in the area. Proceeds from sponsors and raffle tickets help the organization provide compassionate, end-of-life care for patients and families in their 16-county South Central Indiana service area.
In previous years, the show has featured performers such as Blue Öyster Cult, Peter Cetera of Chicago, former Eagles guitarist Don Felder, and ex-Styx frontman Dennis DeYoung.
