Seymour woman busted for dealing heroin

COLUMBUS, Ind.–The Columbus Police Department made a productive traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of a Jackson County woman early Tuesday morning. Lt. Matt Harris, public information officer with CPD, says that when Caitlin Rhodes, 24, of Seymour, was pulled over for a minor traffic violation near Carrie Lane in Columbus, it was discovered she held a suspended driver’s license.

The officer arrested her for that offense and during a search, law enforcement also allegedly found heroin, methamphetamine and prescription medication, plus a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia in the suspect’s purse.

Rhodes was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail and charged with dealing heroin, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while suspended.
