ISP raids Crothersville home, trio busted for drugs

CROTHERSVILLE, Ind.–The Indiana State Police-Versailles All Crimes Policing Team served a search warrant at a Crothersville residence in Jackson County on Tuesday morning which resulted in drugs being seized and three suspects being arrested on numerous charges.

Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, public information with the ISP Versailles Post, says troopers responded to a house on North East Street in Crothersville after receiving a citizen’s complaint of possible drug activity at the residence. Upon arriving, troopers obtained probable cause to apply for and receive a search warrant.

Authorities allegedly found approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside. Police say that other items associated with drug dealing and drug use were also located at the scene.

Three Jackson County residents were arrested:

  • Rose Staley Victorino, 57, of Crothersville, was charged with dealing in methamphetamine over 28 grams near a school or park, possession of meth over 28 grams near a school or park, obstruction of justice, maintaining a common nuisance, dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Scott Staley, 46, of  Crothersville, was booked for dealing in methamphetamine over 28 grams near a school or park, possession of meth over 28 grams near a school or park, maintaining a common nuisance, dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Rodger Robinson, 37, of Crothersville, faces charges of dealing in methamphetamine over 28 grams near a school or park, possession of meth over 28 grams near a school or park, and visiting a common nuisance.

The suspects were incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail, pending their initial appearances in the Jackson County Circuit Court.
