Local students walkout for gun violence

COLUMBUS, Ind.–A group of students walked out of class on Friday and gathered around the flagpole at Columbus East High School. The act was to both commemorate the lives lost two months ago in Parkland, Florida, and the 19th anniversary of the killings at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado.

In the wake of the Florida shootings, many students are speaking out, calling for stricter gun laws.
