Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Johnson_SheriffJOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. – Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies say they found two guns and several narcotics inside a juvenile’s car Tuesday afternoon.  Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox said a female teen and three passengers were stopped at the intersection of County Line Road and Bo-Mar Avenue after deputies noticed an improper temporary license display. A further investigation and a K-9 search alerted deputies of potential contraband which is alleged to be methamphetamine, 30 Xanax bars, and two firearms, one with the serial number partially scrapped off. Three juveniles along with one adult were taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center and Johnson County Jail.
