Traffic stop in Shelby County leads to arrest

SHELBYVILLE, Ind.— A Shelbyville man is in jail after a traffic stop for a broken headlight on Tuesday evening. According to Indiana State Police, after being pulled over, Dominique Reid, 29, failed to identify himself to a state trooper who also smelled marijuana from inside the car. A search of the car reportedly revealed a jar of marijuana and an unused syringe. In addition to these new charges of possession of drugs and paraphernalia for which he was arrested, Reid was also wanted in Marion and Shelby counties for various drug and domestic violence charges.
