Two Columbus men nailed for drugs

COLUMBUS, Ind.–When police stopped a car Monday night near 16th and California Streets, they say they found an abundance of drugs and paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Lt. Matt Harris with the Columbus Police Department tells Local News Digital that the car, driven by Nathan Limeberry, 30, of Columbus, was stopped for a minor traffic violation, but neither he nor his passenger, Nicholas Linney, 27, of Columbus, had a valid license.

A vehicle search by police allegedly produced methamphetamine, a syringe, and drug paraphernalia. Both men were taken into custody and transported to Bartholomew County Jail.

Limeberry and Linney each face possession charges for a legend drug injection device, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Limeberry was also arrested for driving while suspended. Linney received an additional charge of marijuana possession.
