COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus city councilwoman from District 2, Elaine Wagner, is wanting a more vibrant downtown. One of the ways she thinks the city can capitalize on that is through more restaurants. At a neighborhood meeting last night, residents drew attention to the three failed ventures of Scotty’s Burger Joint, Detour Grill and Jordy McTaggart’s in The Commons. Empty spaces remain at The Commons and city councilman Tom Dell said they are looking into a consultant to assess restaurant viability for the space.
