Woman busted for drugs after traffic stop


BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind.–Malfunctioning taillights were the reason a deputy with the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office pulled over Megan Moore, 25, of Columbus, near the intersection of Paula Drive and County Road 150W. During the traffic stop on Saturday afternoon, the sheriff’s department says the officer noticed signs of drug use within the vehicle. The observation was confirmed by a positive hit by K9 officer Bolt.

Recovered in the physical search of the car were a controlled substance and marijuana. Moore was charged with possession of those items, along with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She was transported to Bartholomew County Jail.
