COLUMBUS, Ind. — Several businesses and homes will lose water for a few hours Tuesday morning before a boil water advisory is issued.
Routine repairs will impact the area northwest of U.S. 31 and Interstate 65 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday.
Businesses such as Case, Conway and Centra Credit Union and homes in the Pleasantview and Talbertson additions will lose water.
Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation has issued a 48-hour boil advisory for those areas after water is restored. The advisory is scheduled to expire at noon Thursday.
Customers should boil water for one minute, let it cool and store it in clean containers with covers for drinking, cooking, making any prepared drinks or brushing teeth.
